I have been a full-time, licensed yacht broker for over 25 years. My passion for boating began at the age of 19 while I was serving in Her Majesty’s Armed Forces in the Mediterranean. I had a life changing opportunity and crewed on a 60′ sailing yacht. I sailed the coast of Spain, crossed the Mediterranean Straits, and down the coast of North Africa to Tangier, Morocco and was hooked.

Years later my wife Lynn and I ended up in the Florida Keys, where I worked at Marathon Marina in a variety of positions, including restoring boats, building a few Ballyhoo Boats, and I ended up running the travel lift. My experience at Marathon Marina expanded my boating knowledge and sparked my interest in a career in the brokerage business.

Later, living on the west coast of Florida I moved into the brokerage business selling Tiara and Hatteras Yachts with The Allied Marine Group. I also spent a few years selling Sea Rays with Marine Max and progressed on to representing Bertram and Azimut Yachts with Allied Richard Bertram, then Ferretti Yachts for the Ferretti Allied Marine Group, until I found my home with United Yacht Sales. I reside in Southwest Florida with my lovely wife Lynn, and we have two children. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time fishing in the back country.
